  • 4 cups chopped green cabbage

  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare ingredients: Chop cabbage into bite-sized pieces; mince garlic and ginger.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and ginger; sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned (5-7 minutes).
  4. Toss in chopped cabbage; sauté for another 4-5 minutes until wilted but still crunchy.
  5. Pour in soy sauce and sesame oil; stir well for about two minutes.
  6. If desired, sprinkle red pepper flakes for added heat. Mix everything before removing from heat.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
