  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 4 pocket-style pita breads
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper to prepare the marinade.
  2. Coat the lamb in the marinade and refrigerate it covered for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  3. Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat (375Β°F). Cook the marinated lamb for about 15-20 minutes per side until it reaches an internal temperature of 145Β°F for medium-rare.
  4. While cooking the lamb, combine grated cucumber with Greek yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and dill (if using) to make tzatziki sauce.
