Description

Indulge in a whimsical Frosted Animal Cookie Cheesecake, combining creamy layers with delightful cookie crunch for a dessert that sparks joy and nostalgia in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups crushed animal cookies
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
  • Colorful sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix crushed animal cookies and melted butter until sandy. Press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  2. Beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar, then mix in sour cream and vanilla until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold into the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Pour half of the cheesecake batter over the crust. Sprinkle half of the chopped animal cookies on top, then add the remaining batter.
  5. Bake for about 50 minutes until slightly jiggly in the center. Turn off the oven and leave it inside with the door ajar for one hour to prevent cracking.
  6. Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least four hours or overnight before slicing.
  7. Decorate with whipped cream and colorful sprinkles before serving.
