Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix crushed animal cookies and melted butter until sandy. Press into the bottom of a springform pan.
- Beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar, then mix in sour cream and vanilla until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold into the cream cheese mixture.
- Pour half of the cheesecake batter over the crust. Sprinkle half of the chopped animal cookies on top, then add the remaining batter.
- Bake for about 50 minutes until slightly jiggly in the center. Turn off the oven and leave it inside with the door ajar for one hour to prevent cracking.
- Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least four hours or overnight before slicing.
- Decorate with whipped cream and colorful sprinkles before serving.
