  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300Β°F (150Β°C).
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and trim any excess fat.
  3. In a bowl, combine olive oil, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  4. Generously rub the marinade over the ribs.
  5. Wrap each rack tightly in aluminum foil and place on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for about 3 hours until tender; then unwrap, brush with BBQ sauce, and optionally broil for an additional 5 minutes for caramelization.
