Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz fettuccine or linguine pasta
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

  1. Prep your ingredients: Mince the garlic and chop the parsley. Boil water for pasta.
  2. Cook the pasta: In salted boiling water, cook pasta until al dente; drain, reserving some pasta water.
  3. Sauté garlic & shrimp: In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds before adding shrimp until pink and opaque.
  4. Create the sauce: Add heavy cream while stirring continuously. Mix in Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
