- 4 black tea bags
- 1 cup sugar (or adjust to taste)
- Juice of 2β3 fresh lemons
- 4 cups cold water
- Fresh mint leaves (optional)
Instructions
- Boil 4 cups of water in a medium saucepan. Once boiling, remove from heat.
- Add the 4 black tea bags and steep for 5-7 minutes.
- Remove tea bags and stir in 1 cup of sugar until dissolved. Squeeze in the juice from 2-3 fresh lemons.
- Pour the mixture into a large pitcher and add 4 cups of cold water. Chill in the refrigerator for about an hour.
- Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves for an extra touch.
