Description

Beat the summer heat with this invigorating Lemon Iced Tea! This delightful drink combines the bright, zesty flavor of fresh lemons with rich black tea, resulting in a refreshing beverage that’s perfect for any sunny day.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 black tea bags
  • 1 cup sugar (or adjust to taste)
  • Juice of 2–3 fresh lemons
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil 4 cups of water in a medium saucepan. Once boiling, remove from heat.
  2. Add the 4 black tea bags and steep for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Remove tea bags and stir in 1 cup of sugar until dissolved. Squeeze in the juice from 2-3 fresh lemons.
  4. Pour the mixture into a large pitcher and add 4 cups of cold water. Chill in the refrigerator for about an hour.
  5. Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves for an extra touch.
