  • 1 lb ground halal beef (80/20)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 small onion, finely sliced
  • Dill pickles, to taste
  • 4 burger buns (brioche or whole wheat)
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, sauces

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground halal beef with salt and pepper. Mix gently without overworking the meat.
  2. Shape into four patties slightly larger than the buns.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (375°F/190°C). Grill patties for 4-5 minutes on one side until grill marks appear.
  4. Flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
  5. Add sliced onions on top of each patty during the last minute of grilling.
  6. Toast burger buns on the grill. Assemble burgers with patties, pickles, onions, and any additional toppings.
