  • 1 lb ground beef (80% lean)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (plain or Italian)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 4 sub rolls
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Heat marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
  6. Slice sub rolls without cutting all the way through, load with meatballs, pour marinara sauce over them, and top with mozzarella cheese.
